When you register and use the App, we collect the following information:

• Account Information: Full name, email address, phone number, and profile picture provided during registration.
• Authentication Data: Login credentials via email and password, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In (iOS only). We do not store your Google or Apple passwords — authentication is handled directly by those platforms.
• Event Participation Data: Events you apply to, application status (pending, approved, rejected), and your event history.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers used for app functionality and diagnostics.
• Usage & Crash Data: App usage patterns, error logs, and crash reports collected via Sentry to help us identify and fix technical issues.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your employee account within the App
• Allow administrators to review and approve employee registrations
• Display your profile details to administrators for event staffing decisions
• Notify you of new events, your application status, and important App updates
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues using crash and error reports from Sentry
• Comply with applicable legal obligations

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may collect or process your data as part of providing the App:

• Google Sign-In: Used for account authentication. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Apple Sign-In (iOS only): Used for authentication on iOS devices. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Sentry: Used for crash reporting and error monitoring. May collect device information and usage data automatically when errors occur. Subject to Sentry's Privacy Policy.
• Supabase: Used for user authentication, database storage, and file storage (including profile pictures). Processes personal data such as email addresses, phone numbers, and uploaded files on your behalf. Subject to Supabase's Privacy Policy. Supabase infrastructure is hosted on AWS servers.
• Google Play Services / Apple App Store: Used for app distribution and delivery. Subject to their respective platform policies.

We only share data with these services to the extent necessary for their intended purpose and do not permit them to use your data for their own marketing purposes.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Your information may be shared only in the following limited circumstances:

• With administrators: Your name, phone number, email address, and profile picture are visible to the Hostpro Events administrator for the purpose of employee verification, account approval, and event staffing.
• With service providers: As described in Section 03, data is shared with Sentry and sign-in providers solely to operate the App.
• When required by law: If we are legally obligated to disclose your information to law enforcement or regulatory authorities.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active. If your account is deactivated, removed by an administrator, or you request deletion, we will remove your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by applicable law.

Your Rights

As a user of the App, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate or outdated information
• Request deletion of your account and associated personal data
• Withdraw consent for optional data processing where applicable

Minors

The App may be used by individuals who are minors (under 18 years of age) in the context of part-time employment. We collect only the information necessary for account creation and event participation. If you are a minor, we recommend that a parent or guardian is aware of your registration and use of this App.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has registered, we will promptly delete their information. If you believe this has occurred, please contact us immediately.

Security

We implement industry-standard security practices to protect your personal data, including secure authentication via Google and Apple sign-in and encrypted data transmission. However, no system is entirely immune to security risks, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

No Advertisements or In-App Purchases

The Hostpro Events App does not display advertisements and does not offer in-app purchases. Your data is never used for advertising purposes, and we do not share your information with advertising networks.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
